Come one, come all, fall camping is the best! Why you ask, because there are less bugs and a lower chance of rain!

Rain and wind hit us good, had a small river running past the campfire. We put the nearby pavilion into use for playing games and stying dry. Everthing worked well once we added a few tarps as walls. Drinks were shared!

Weather was better than last year, rained on saturday night. Having less people took some of the fun out of it. The campsites worked well, and now I want more tiki torches. A few Photos from the weekend!
May 26-29, 2000 Long Lake - Campground 16
Very wet! The big game was trying to stay warm and dry. The Whop is back in the hands of James, much better, we could drink it! No one brought potatoes thinking everyone else would bring them! On Sunday we gave up on the camping and headed to a hotel with a pool, hot tub, and a sauna! Guess what, we get there and the sun comes out, o'well into the hot tub!
May 28-31, 1999 Cedar Valley - Campground 13
Very warm! Frisbee was the game of the weekend, that and catching on fire. Well OK, Alex was the only one on fire, but I had to bring it up. The making of the whop, with a little help from my friends, bad idea! The sling shot makes a showing again, and everyone brought potatoes. We had 5 bags! Photos from the weekend!
May 29-31, 1998 Near Mountain - Friend's cabin 13
We learned the balloon sling shot can use potatoes, bananas, beer cans and ?? It also makes mashed potatoes with the aid of a tree! Boat rides with the sling shot. A 1/4 barrel was not enough! Everyone brought aluminum foil, I liked the 3am trips! Photos from the weekend!
May 30 - June 1, 1997 Kelly Lake - Campground 8
Lots of swimming! The first showing of the water balloon sling shot! We learned it works well for bombing boaters too. Did you ever go hunting for aluminum foil at 3am? Try it! James the master Monopoly player, five straight wins!! First showing of the Whop, good stuff!
May 31 - June 2, 1996 Pembine - Friend's cabin 7
More marshmallows, some swimming. Found the waterfalls that were only listed on the map. Some of us even got to see the moons of Jupiter, yes the real ones! Photos from the weekend!
June 2-4, 1995 Pembine - Friend's cabin 6
Our first outing, we had a good time! Mostly roasted marshmallows and lit fire works! There was more but, that was years ago!
